SHIPPING TIMELINES
Hi Awesome Contributors!
So as per last update, we had said that we had cleared QC and that we can now concentrate on shipping the AirBolts. However, we are sure that you must be wondering more about the actual timelines especially, in regards to the batch that had to be redone.
So now, as we have received IATA approval (many changes introduced lately in regards to shipping restrictions) we can give you more firm dates on what to expect from this point forward and we can let you know which warehouses we are shipping to. This detailed below.
1. AirBolts shipping to our warehouse in Hong Kong should reach in a couple of days. From then the AirBolts will start being shipped out to those of you allocated to the Hong Kong warehouse. You will start receiving tracking numbers as they get shipped out.
2. AirBolts shipping to our Australian warehouse were initially meant to take 14 -18 days but due to the IATA approval we have now managed to have an ETA of about 6 working days. Just like the HK warehouse, as soon as this lands and is processed, the AirBolt's will begin shipping from this warehouse too.
3. The final warehouse is located in the U.S. Most of the units going to this warehouse are currently being redone. The expected date these will be ready is 10th of May. We will ship these out as fast as practical as soon as they are ready. Please allow a few additional days, in case, we need them to double check these have been completed properly. The same process will apply here as above i.e. you will receive a tracking number as soon as your item ships.
Do note, just a reminder that we do not handle or cover any custom duties, taxes etc . Each country has their own rules and regulations, it will be up to you to cover these accordingly.
We cannot wait to get these into your hands and we honestly thank you so so so much for the patience you have shown us. It has been an amazing journey thus far, and we hope you really love your AirBolt(s).

EXTERNAL QC PASSED, NEXT SHIPPING!
Hi Awesome Contributors!
So, we are sure you have all been waiting for us to tell you this...External QC has passed (title really gave this part away lol)!!!!
Now, as promised, we'll be shipping in two batches. The second half is being remade as we speak. We'll let you know when they are ready too. Our aim now is to get units to our warehouses over the two batches. From there they'll ship to you all :) - immediately as soon as they arrive at each warehouse.
We can officially say, the AirBolt has finally publicly released to yourselves and to our retail and online partners!
WOOOT!
Once they start shipping from our warehouses, we'll let you know :)

FEEDBACK
We want to ensure we squash any bugs that we can find, so if you have any feedback about crashes/bugs (especially, in regards to Android, as while it is available on Google, it is still in a live beta stage), we are listening and do send it through.

We are now concentrating on putting up our support pages and network. These will become available as we ship.

APP UPDATE
Ok, so first thing is first, we have officially launched on the Google Play Store!! So excited! Check it out here

As mentioned, we are continuously updating the AirBolt Android app to bring it up to speed. It will update again in a few days.
In regards to iOS, we are just awaiting approval from Apple. Any day now.
Such a good feeling to have these go live :)
QUALITY CONTROL UPDATE
Ok, we had a slight delay in bringing in our external team to undertake QC. Through our internal checking, we discover that a few thousand units actually had a cosmetic defect which we have decided to reject. Please see the picture below.
Cosmetic Defect Visible on AirBolts
You may think this is quite minor, and yes, we admit it is but, we don't see why we should be sending these out when we can try get the manufacturers to remove these. We want to do our best by our backers, so that is exactly what we are doing.
Now this will go into April until they are reproduced and checked. However, there is the matter of the other remaining units without this defect. We are now looking to at least start shipping these out. So we are bringing our external QC team and then working on at least getting these out.
We think this is best rather than waiting, it'll give logistics a thorough testing as well haha.
We'll keep you posted once our external team completes the required.

If you have sent us an updated address and we have not replied with a confirmation, please do follow up in case it has gotten lost as we had a very large influx of address change requests.

QUICK UPDATE
Hi Awesome Contributors,
Just a quick update for you. Our first production batch has almost completed now. We will now run through a set of QC Checks and prepare for shipment. We also do QC checks via an external company just to ensure everything is in order (an extra step we are doing to ensure the AirBolt is the best quality we can make it).
This should take a couple of weeks. So as per last update, we are looking good to ship out late March to warehouses and then to you all.

SHIPPING ADDRESS
If you have moved or plan to move, please inform us! You can no longer just login and change your address. Once shipped, it will be too late for us to make any amendments and we won't be able to resend the product. So please make sure everything is entered correctly.
ANDROID UPDATE:
We have worked tirelessly to bring Android up to date. Starting again from scratch for Android wasn't easy. We can now proudly say that the first version of Android is ready and we will continue to update the app regularly once launched. To get it done so quickly without quality sacrifices has been a big feat and an expensive one but it had to be done. We really hope you all love it! Exciting times :)
